Being a plant of desert origin, the succulents need sun. Therefore, keep it in a location that receives direct sunlight or at least is well lit.

One of the main characteristics of succulents is that they do not require constant watering. In the winter months it is recommended to water the plant every fortnight, and in summer the ideal is one irrigation per week. However, always check the soil moisture before watering, as the succulents suffer much more from excess water than from lack.

Another important detail: never water the juicy watering the leaves. Water only the earth, so the plant does not rot. One tip is to use droppers or a tube, such as a snack bar, to water the plant in the right measure.

How to plant succulents

The planting of the succulents is very simple. The first step is to choose the container that will receive the plant, after that guarantee the drainage system, as the accumulation of water can rot the plant.

To do this, make three to four holes in the pot and place some small stones in the bottom. Then add the fertilized soil. Make a little hole in the center to get the seedling and plant it next.

The process for making succulent seedlings is equally simple. To do this, simply cut some leaves and place them on the ground without the need to bury the tips. Just lay them on the ground.
